This amazing 24 Day tour starts and finishes in the vibrant city of Kathmandu, and includes 18 days adventurous trekking to the romantic and iconic Everest Base Camp. Follow in the footsteps of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay along the romantic route to the base of the highest mountain in the world. In Kathmandu we stay in the legendary Kathmandu Guest House and while trekking we stay in Teahouses and have the full support of an English speaking trekking guide and porters.

Day One – Kathmandu (D)
Make your own way to Kathmandu International airport, where we will meet you in airport arrivals and transfer you to your room at the legendary Kathmandu Guest House in the heart of Thamel. The rest of the day is free relax or explore Kathmandu.
Day Two – Kathmandu (B)
You have a free day in Kathmandu to explore this amazing city or to relax at your hotel.
Day Three Kathmandu to Lukla and start Trek (B) (D)
After breakfast at your hotel we transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport and fly to Lukla. Once we arrive we start our 18 day trek to Everest Base Camp with a walk to our first overnight accommodation in a Teahouse.
Day Four to Twenty-One (B) (L) (D)
This is the classic and most scenic path to Everest Base Camp. We trek eastwards through the Sherpa region of Solu, passing active Buddhist monasteries and crossing over three 10,000 foot passes. We arrive at Everest Base Camp OR you can climb Kalapathar to look down over Everest Base Camp and get an even better view of the worlds highest mountain. We then trek back to Lukla for the flight back to Kathmandu.
The total trek distance is 234km in 18 days, you will be walking for 6 to 9 hours each day so a good level of fitness is require. You will carry a day pack containing your water, camera etc and our porters will carry your larger bag.
Day Twenty-Two (B)
After breakfast we fly back to Kathmandu and check back into the Kathmandu Guest House. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Kathmandu or relax and recover from the trek.

Another free day in Kathmandu for you to explore.
Day Twenty-Four (B)
After breakfast in the hotel we transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
Please Note: We have deliberately left day 23 free to allow for any delays in getting back to Kathmandu from Lukla. Please do not book your return flight home on day 23.
